Hegg Memorial Health Center New Edition Construction Montage - August 2016 to April 2017

Here is a montage of video that I have gathered while doing aerial cinematography of the construction of the Hegg Memorial Health Center's new edition in Rock Valley, Iowa. While the new edition is not yet completed, I thought it would still be interesting to see the progress that has taken place so far: from August 2016 to April 2017.

The Quilting, Sewing, & Crafting of Loretta Wynia

On October 22, 2016, my dad and I put together a showcase of the creative side of my mom, from quilting and sewing to crafting and pottery. We opened it up for the community to come and see many things she used to touch our lives over the years. Harvest Festival Promo 2016

This is a video I made using aerial footage to help promo the annual Harvest Festival held at the Heritage Village in Sioux Center, IA.

The Sioux Center Heritage Board and the Heritage Threshers and Collectors host annually a Harvest Festival at Heritage Village in Sioux Center, IA. The Harvest Festival will have a variety of activities and demonstrations from operating farm machinery like corn shellers, balers, and threshers to other activities like metal working in the blacksmith shop, sawing logs in the lumber mill, and assorted other crafts in the barn. There may also be a horse show taking place on one of the days of the festival as well. Come, bring your families, and walk down memory lane and get a glimpse of what life was like in the Sioux County area in the past.

What is Memorial Day?

What is so special about Memorial Day? Why is it a holiday? This video briefly explains the history of Memorial Day as well as showing clips from ceremonies held every year in Rock Valley, Iowa. In this community the veterans, cadets and boy scouts take part in a ceremony to pay honor to all of the people from the local area who had given their all in the defense of the United States of America.

Remembering Loretta Wynia, Beloved Wife and Mother

This is a video I made to show at my mother's funeral service. It is a video highlighting pictures and video of Loretta Wynia in remembrance and celebration of her life and time on this earth. She will be greatly missed by many people, but she is now pain free and celebrating with her Savior Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

Louis Wynia Graveside Service

My grandpa Louis S. Wynia passed away Saturday, Dec 13, 2014. His memorial service was Dec 18, 2014. My grandpa served in the military at the end of World War II helping in Italy. We had full military honors as part of the graveside service. This is a video of that ceremony.

A special thanks to Mike and Gert Van Regenmorter who were kind enough to operate cameras for me while I served as a casket bearer.

Justice For All - Thankful for Volunteers in 2013

Flag Retirement Demostration

The veterans demonstrated to the Rock Valley Cadets how old, worn out United States flags were properly destroyed. The veterans also discussed and reminded the boys about respect for the flag and what it means as a symbol for the country.

Midwest Camporee 2010

The Calvinist Cadet Corps had a 5 day camporee in 2010. This documentary highlights the events of that camporee, and gives a taste of what a camporee can be like.
